Entree bowls are perfect for daily use, special occasions, or bookshelf display, or group with other Birch Collection pieces for a unique serving or dinnerware set.

These bowls are hand-crafted from smooth mid-fire porcelain. Each piece is burnished and coated with thin layers of bright white and soft gray underglaze to create a base for the birch bark textures. Each knot and lenticel is hand carved and filled with additional slip to build up the layers of character. A glossy white glaze coats the interior, while the raw exterior surface allows you to feel the velvety quality of the bark and each of the rough knots in your hands. The base is finished with the K. Allison Ceramics signature.
