Xs + Os moon jar, noir

This moon jar is wheelthrown in two pieces, combined on the wheel, and refined together to create the final form. Decorated with slips, oxides, and carvings, my Xs and Os motif is an homage to the very first handmade cup I purchased from a local Icelandic artist back in 2015. Its design was quite different but featured Xs and Os, which feels fitting for the love letter to Iceland that my work has become.
