Weathered terrain pebble vases are wheelthrown from a dark clay body, hand-textured, with various metal tools, and decorated with additional clay textures and custom-dyed slip. Layer upon layer is added and removed to create a worn, vintage surface. Each pebble is finished with Icelandic lava stones which melt in the kiln and fuse to the cup. Inspired by Iceland’s black sand beaches. These vases have been sanded to a finish that begs to be touched..
Water-tight and safe for live and dried flowers. Handwashing is recommended.
