This bowl is hand-formed outdoors using the natural environment as texture. It is then stretched into a hollow form using pinch pot techniques and closed at the top with a hand-formed slab. Created from a medium red clay body, the piece is coated in a black underglaze and finished with a glaze made from wild clay and wood ash dug in upstate New York. Inspired by the subtle beauty of the humble rocks we see every day.
Glazed interior is food-safe and water tight. Handwash only, please.
