This bowl is hand-formed outdoors using the natural environment as texture. It is then stretched into a hollow form using pinch pot techniques and closed at the top with a hand-formed slab. Created from a medium red clay body, the piece is coated in a black underglaze and finished with drippy glazes made from wild clay and wood ash dug in upstate New York. Inspired by the subtle beauty of the humble rocks we see every day.
Glazed interior is food-safe and water tight. Handwash only, please.
