Sway vases are wheelthrown in multiple parts that are altered and combined to create an entirely unique vase each time - no two will ever appear the same. These pieces are decorated with a textured black slip and accented in drippy red. The forms are inspired by the vast landscape of wheat fields swaying in the Icelandic wind while the textures are inspired by the black sand beaches and lava flows. Each vase has been sanded to a finish that begs to be touched.
