This cup is hand-formed and hand-carved from a dark clay body using a traditional Japanese teabowl-making technique. It is then decorated with additional clay textures and custom-dyed slip. Layer upon layer is added and removed to create a worn, vintage finish. Inspired by the colors and textures of the Icelandic landscape. These cups have been sanded to a finish that begs to be touched.
Food, microwave, and dishwasher safe, but handwashing is recommended.
