This enormous basket vessel is crafted using ancient coil-building techniques. Formed from a dark, groggy clay body, it is decorated with a naturally drippy white porcelain slip and surface impressions made using a collection of gems, geodes, and crystals. This one-of-a-kind statement piece was made in 2023 but is making it’s shop debut in December 2025. I have been holding onto it as it is one of my earliest explorations in what has become the organic, earthy work I create today.
This vessel is unglazed and should be used for dry goods only. Not fit for wet or acidic foods. Please avoid the dishwasher and microwave.
