curvy artifact vessel

$785.00

12.5h x 8.5belly x 5.25 rim x 1 open

This vessel is crafted using ancient coil-building techniques. Formed from a dark, smooth clay body, it is meticulously decorated in wild clay slips and melted volcanic ash, accented with areas powered red clay gifted to me in Cochambama, Bolivia. This one-of-a-kind statement piece is inspired by my travels in La Paz, Bolivia, honoring the dry, rolling landscape and cultural reverence for traditional craft.

This vessel’s interior glaze is water-tight and fit for live or dried flowers. However, the piece is meant more as a sculptural vessel than as a vase, and it can be difficult to remove water from the vessel.
