This Artifact Vessel is crafted using ancient coil-building techniques. Formed from a dark, groggy clay body, it is meticulously decorated in wild clay hand-dug in upstate New York, wild clay dust gifted to me in Cochabamba, Bolivia, and melted volcanic ash responsibly sourced from Iceland. Inspired by ancient South American pottery forms and the breathtaking mountainous landscapes I experienced in La Paz and Cochabamba, Bolivia.
This vessel is unglazed and should be used for dry goods only. Not fit for wet or acidic foods. Please avoid the dishwasher and microwave.
