Ceramic art inspired by the breathtaking wonder of of the natural world.
Hi, I’m Kim!
Hi, I’m Kim! I’m allergic to “do not touch” signs in art and am drawn to clay as a medium that fosters the connection between sight and touch, inviting interaction, not detachment. Pottery is for viewing, yes, but it also craves engagement and is designed to be used, cherished, and woven into our daily lives. It’s a part of our shared culture. I’m inspired by the materiality of clay and the everyday textures we encounter in nature, and I draw form inspiration from Japanese, Scandinavian, and South American design.
